basement dried out

Another Happy Customer

"Our washing machine supply line hose ruptured and 2 inches of water was in our basement on a Sunday night.  Once the SERVPRO team arrived, they stayed until 1:30 in the morning cleaning up.

Because we live in a townhouse complex we have a shared basement area and due to the work of the SERVPRO team we contained the water in our unit and saved the rest of the Townhouse Association significant damage.

Over the next several days Tucker and his crew returned to assess any further damage and remove the saturated sheetrock and carpeting that needed to be replaced. I want to thank Tucker and this SERVPRO Team for their professionalism and dealing with the insurance in a timely manner.  I would highly recommend their service."

moldy wall

Mold Growth and Damage

This wetted wall shows damage caused by the mold which took advantage of moisture from a leak. This removal was done with a HEPA filtered vacuum to limit the chance of mold dust and spores circulating to other areas of the house in Coon Rapids.

Sinking in Mold

Mold damage at this Coon Rapids Garage was the result of a leaky water line that came from a damaged utility sink due to a storm. The photo shows that a large patch of mold formed. When our technicians encounter a situation such as this, they would remove the sink and replace the drywall. The drywall would not be able to be salvaged due to being deeply infested and structurally compromised. They would treat the area with an antifungal agent before rebuilding the wall and replacing the sink.

sewer backup cleanup in St. Louis Park

Sewer Backup Cleanup

This homeowner in Coon Rapids was very relieved that we arrived in less than one hour. The basement was flooded with three inches of water, contaminated by a sewer backup. Unfortunately, the family room, hallway, and two bedrooms were affected by this mishap. Our SERVPRO team immediately set up equipment to pump the water from the lower level. The Photo depicts the work in process. The contaminated carpet has been discarded, we covered some content to preserve them, and our equipment is still at work. Upon completion of this project, the affected rooms will be clean smelling, disinfected, and ready for our customers.

cracked toilet flooding

Motel Cracked Toilet Flood

Flood damage at this Motel began with a cracked toilet tank. Water damage cleanup extended to a dozen rooms. Water gushed for hours into unrented adjacent rooms. We needed multiple commercial water removal equipment units and industrial air-moving units to return closed rooms to active rentable units for the motel operator. He was astounded at how quickly our team wrapped up this project. If your business impaired by flood damage, call SERVPRO of Shakopee/Savage/Prior Lake 24/7 at 952-403-1050. We provide 24-hour emergency service.

Flooded Basement in Chanhassen, MN

Our crew recently responded to a water damage job in the Chanhassen area.  The homeowner found their basement mildly flooded due to a failed sump pump.  This was the second time this had happened to them within a five year period, so their carpeting was still fairly new.  Thankfully, we were called in soon enough where we were able to salvage the carpet. We used a "floating" method to lift the carpet with our commercial strength air movers to ensure thorough, efficient drying.  Our Thermal Imaging Camera was used to capture the severity of the damage.  In this photo, you can see where the carpet is saturated and the wall absorbed water almost 12" high.
